A CUSTOM JACKET, FROM THE DETAILS UP Illustrative concept
THE CREATIVE PART IS MORE THAN THE LOGO
A thoughtful product. A reason to wear it.
The best starting point is the person receiving it. We connect the product, design, and practical details so the finished piece makes sense for your audience.
Imagine a team retreat that needs something more personal than a logo on a standard jacket. The goal: a useful layer with a coordinated look and subtle branding.
This fictional project follows a green-and-cream coach jacket from brief to finished concept. It shows how the process can work; specifications and production options are confirmed for each real project.
THE AUDIENCE
A team coming together for a retreat
THE CREATIVE DIRECTION
Understated, versatile, made to wear again
THE DETAILS
Color-block panels · chest emblem · custom label
THE GOAL
A cohesive piece that lives beyond the event
SIX STEPS. ONE CREATIVE PARTNER.
From the first sketch to the final stitch.
A custom cut-and-sew journey, with clear decisions along the way.
Who is it for? Where will they use it? Share your audience, quantity, budget, and arrival date. A clear brief gives every creative decision a purpose.
Your project brief
02
Find the right direction.
We explore products, silhouettes, colors, and decoration. An existing product with thoughtful artwork may be the right fit—or a custom build may open up more possibilities.
A proposed product direction
03
Work through every detail.
For cut-and-sew, we define the garment panels, fabric, fit, size range, closures, artwork placement, and labels with the production partner. We review pricing and the proposed schedule with you.
Design and specification approval
04
Make it tangible.
Review artwork proofs and, where included in the project, a physical sample. Check the fit, construction, color, and decoration. We coordinate revisions and confirm approval before the bulk run.
Approved proof / sample
05
Bring the collection to life.
Once the agreed approvals are in place, production follows the confirmed specifications. For a custom garment, this means cutting fabric, decorating components, sewing, finishing, and agreed quality checks.
Finished, decorated merchandise
06
Plan the arrival.
Confirm final quantities, packing requirements, and delivery destinations. We coordinate freight and delivery, and can discuss kitting or fulfillment if the project needs it.

TWO WAYS TO MAKE IT YOURS
The right approach for your next idea.
Curate & decorate
Start with an existing product. Build the personality through color, artwork, placement, and the right decoration method.
Apparel, drinkware, bags, and everyday favorites
A practical starting point for many quantities and timelines
Options depend on product availability and decoration limits
Does creative merch always mean custom manufacturing?
No. A great product choice, unexpected color combination, or well-placed design can make an existing product feel distinctive. We help choose the approach that fits your goals, quantity, and budget.
What does cut-and-sew mean?
Fabric is cut into garment pattern pieces and sewn into the finished item. Depending on the production program, this can allow choices in silhouette, panels, fabric, trims, and labels beyond decorating a ready-made garment.
What are the minimums and lead times?
They depend on the product, material, construction, decoration, sampling, and freight. Custom manufacturing usually needs more planning than decorating existing inventory. Share your required arrival date early; we will confirm the applicable minimums and schedule in your proposal.
Do I need finished artwork to get started?
No. Bring a logo, inspiration images, a rough idea, or simply a goal. We can help shape the direction and identify what artwork and approvals are needed for production.
Will I see a sample?
Sample options and costs are scoped to the project. For a custom build, we will discuss the sample and approval process before production, including any revision costs or timing implications.
